Yoga, Sanskrit for union, is a spiritual practice that stretches our bodies and minds harmoniously.
In celebration of National Yoga Month , Miraval is happy to share just a few benefits that yoga is known to have on the body when practiced routinely – or make for good reason to start!
Seven Reasons to Practice Yoga:
- Improve muscle tone, flexibility, strength, and stamina
- Aid in alleviating cravings
- Stimulate the immune system
- Improve circulation
- Improve concentration and creativity
- Boost self-esteem
- Create a sense of wellbeing and calm
To help you reap these benefits at a time whenwe need them the most, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite live yoga classes – including some led by Miraval instructors – that you can access from the comfort of your living room.
