Don’t forget to book your experiences and spa treatments well in advance of your stay. Miraval welcomes guests who are 18+ years or older.

There are various ways to get to Miraval Berkshires from the tri-state region. Whether flying, driving, or taking the train, Miraval Berkshires makes it easy for you to get door-to-door.

Miraval welcomes guests who are 18+ years or older.
To guarantee your reservation, an advance deposit of 50% of your total room reservation is required.

Reservation Requirements

Guests must sign up for all activities, dinner meals, private sessions, and spa services. To ensure maximum availability, we highly recommend booking your experiences as far in advance as possible—ideally 4-6 weeks before your stay. Our daily schedule is available 60 days out, and our dedicated Experience Planners are available to help answer questions and make thoughtful recommendations based on your intentions for your stay.

Scheduling Activities, Private Sessions and Spa Services

We offer a complimentary airport shuttle for arriving and departing guests to Bradley International Airport, Wassaic Train Station, and the Pittsfield Train Station (MAY-OCT).  *Important Note* All complimentary transportation pick-up needs require reservations with our transportation team at least 72 hours in advance.
Complimentary shuttle drop-offs and pick-ups are available at Bradley Airport six times a day, between 8:30 am and 7 pm, departing Miraval Berkshires between 7 am and 5 pm. We also offer complimentary shuttle drop-offs and pick-ups at Wassaic Train Station twice daily at 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm, departing Miraval Berkshires at 10:45 am and 2:45 pm.
We can arrange a private car for an additional cost if you have transportation needs that do not align with these times or locations.

Complimentary Shuttle & Other Transportation Options

As much as we love our furry friends at Miraval, our property has a no-pets policy. We can refer you to a great local pet boarding home for the duration of your stay. Service animals* are the only pets allowed on the property and must be under control and on a leash at all times when outside your guest room. Guests requiring service animals must inform a Miraval Advisor that they are bringing a service animal before arrival.
*Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Guests may be asked what work or tasks the animal has been trained to perform. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA.*

Pet Policy

Miraval Berkshires experiences all four seasons. We suggest layers of athletic or yoga wear for maximum comfort during your day.
Evening dining is resort casual, and many of our guests stay in their spa robes while dining.
All equestrian activities require long pants and closed-toed shoes. Challenge activities require tennis shoes. Some spa services and programming (such as Vasudhara) require a swimsuit. Other services (such as Thai massage) require loose, comfortable clothing.
You should bring the following items: sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, yoga wear, workout clothing, a swimsuit, and running and hiking shoes (preferably waterproof), rain gear and/or umbrella, and extra socks. If you’ve forgotten any items, our Moonlight Pass Boutique carries any additional apparel you may need.

What To Pack & Seasons

Before Your Stay

Creating a life in balance begins with being fully present and engaged at the moment. Our digital device-free resorts allow guests to participate in the Miraval experience free of distraction—and give them permission to unplug. We ask that all guests use technology only in designated areas. E-readers are allowed. More information on Miraval Mode, as well as digital mindfulness resources, can be found <a href="https://miravalresorts.com/berkshires/about/miraval-mode/">here</a>.

Miraval Mode

While check-in to the room is at 3:00 pm, we invite you to come on property as early as 11:00 am to take advantage of activities, services, and lunch, which starts at 11:30 am. 
*Please note that all guests are required to bring a form of identification at check-in.
To give you time for check-in and lunch, we recommend not scheduling your first activity or service during your first 60-90 minutes at the resort. 
If needed, our Front Desk team can store your luggage prior to check-in and/or after check-out. 
On your day of departure, we ask that you&#8217;re out of your room by 11:00 am. However, you are welcome to stay on the property until 5:00 pm if you have your own transportation.

Arrival & Departure - Overnight Guests

You are welcome to arrive at our property as early as 8:30 am, with your first activity beginning at 9:00 am. 
*Please note that all guests are required to bring a form of identification at check-in.
There is complimentary on-site parking. 
Keep in mind that all meals, snacks, coffee, smoothies, and non-alcoholic beverages are included in your day package. 
You may store any day bags at the front desk, the Life in Balance Spa, or the Body Mindfulness Center. 
We ask that your last activity end no later than 5:00 pm. Please feel free to explore our 1894 dining experience, offered Thursday-Saturday. Reservations are required, so please talk to an Experience Planner or the Front Desk to book your table.

Dining Hours

Take the luxury of Miraval home with you—or pick up any necessities you may have left at home.
The Moonlight Pass Boutique, which sells bathing suits, athleisure wear, books, jewelry, and much more, is open from 10:00 am &#8211; 6:00 pm. The shop is proud to feature unique wares from diverse-owned retail businesses.
Specializing in the top-of-the-line skincare products used in our spa services, the Life in Balance Spa Boutique is open during spa hours (9:00 am to 9:00 pm). The shop also sells crystals, swimsuits, cover-ups, sun hats, and other spa products that allow you to recreate the spa experience at home.

The Life In Balance Spa is open daily from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm. 
An appointment at the spa is not required for on-property guests wishing to use the spa’s amenities.

Life in Balance Spa Hours

Our stunning, state-of-the-art Body Mindfulness Center (BMC) is open 24 hours and includes weights, Technogym equipment, bikes, and our fitness class facilities.

Body Mindfulness Center Hours

Nothing is more important to us than keeping you safe. Miraval security staff routinely patrol the resort property. Should you have any concerns, please dial the resort operator.
All Miraval staff are required to identify themselves by department name prior to entering a guest room.
For maximum security and privacy, please activate your room’s deadbolt.
If you see or hear any suspicious activity, please report your observations to management.
Please place any valuables in the provided room safe.
To prioritize the safety and privacy of our guests and staff, only registered day spa and overnight guests are permitted to access the resort. Day Spa Packages are available upon request for visitors and are subject to availability. Prevailing Day Spa Package rates apply.

Safety & Security

On arrival, we provide each guest with a Miraval water bottle, and there are FloWater stations in all of the main buildings. There is also a water carafe in each guestroom.

Hydration

We’re so grateful to be surrounded by the beautiful natural environment of the Berkshires. During your stay, you may see diverse wildlife, such as deer, foxes, birds, turkeys, bears, raccoons, and bobcats. 
We recommend that you stay mindful of your surroundings. Please avoid welcoming wildlife into your room by keeping doors closed.

Miraval is a no-tipping resort property. We believe this policy is essential to ensuring a mindful experience for our guests. 
If you wish to express your gratitude to our team members, a warm thank you, comment card, Google or TripAdvisor review is the best way to do it.

Gratuities & Tipping

Packages include luxurious accommodations, nightly resort credit to use toward spa services, fee-based activities, or private sessions, all gourmet meals, non-alcoholic beverages, and shared airport shuttle service. Enjoy unlimited access to daily complimentary wellbeing activities and resort amenities. *Please note, there is an additional charge for hand-crafted, premium Zero Proof Cocktails.

All Packages Include

If your package includes resort credits, you may apply them toward any fee-based activity, private session, or spa treatment during your visit. Resort credits are per person, and non-transferable. Resort credits are accrued nightly and rollover throughout your stay. However, at the end of your stay, any unused resort credits are forfeited.
The amount of resort credits you receive depends on the package that you book. Please reach out to an <a href="mailto:berkshires.experienceplanning@miravalresorts.com">Experience Planner</a> if you have any questions.

Resort Credits

An advance deposit of 50% of your total stay package is required to guarantee your reservation.
For cancellations made more than 21 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. Your advance deposit will be forfeited for cancellations made 21 days or less before your scheduled arrival date.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise noted, the entire fee will be charged to your bill if you change or cancel a fee-based activity or spa service within four hours of the start time.
If you are a no-show for a reserved spa service, fee-based activity, or private session, the entire fee will be charged to your bill.

Experiences & Spa Cancellation / No-Show Policy 

Package rates do not include our 25% resort charge or applicable taxes (approximately 15%). These will be added to your bill. All fee-based classes, workshops, and programming will be taxed at 6%. 
Your resort charge includes access to over 120 weekly wellbeing offerings, full access to our two luxury pools, Body Mindfulness Center, and Wi-Fi. 
Also subject to applicable taxes are retail purchases, a la carte food and beverage purchases, and other services scheduled in addition to what is included in your package.
